We have an experienced Master Herbalist that hand picks the blooms from the St. John's Wort plant on St. John's Day every year and hand infuses them into organic olive oil over a period of 8 weeks to eventually achieve this amazing and gorgeous red oil. The healing properties of this oil are too many to count, but it has been used historically to reduce itching from bug bites, soothe burns and wounds, and as a tonic for sprains and sore muscles. Note: St. John's wort is safe and effective when applied to open wounds
